Simple and flexible solution, integrated three main elements:


  • Web server with installed Smart Fleet software system accessible from any PC with an Internet connection
  • Internet connected operators’ posts using the Abritus Web Server at the same time
  • Embedded hardware in the vehicles :

    Option Mobility:

    Mobile Data terminal with touch screen and integrated communication interface (module GPS, modem GSM/GPRS, etc.).

    Option Security:

    Compact Tracking Device with integrated communication interface (module GPS, modem GSM/GPRS, etc.) connected to the terminal with touch screen.

Taking the job


The Dispatcher records the client request using a predefined customer address database.

The attributes and special requirements for the job also are entered by the Dispatcher: type of vehicle, more luggage, etc.

Jobs dispatching


The system identifies the vehicle that is the best suited to handle the job and meet the requirements of the dispatching algorithm.

The job is offered to one or several vehicles already identified by the system.

Once a driver accepts the job, it is assigned to the identified vehicle and all of the related information flashes on the screen in the vehicle.

The system can automatically assign a job to a vehicle or the dispatcher can assign it manually.

The dispatcher can offer and assign a job by SMS or manage it manually.

Smart Fleet allows at any given moment to:



Locate and display each vehicle on a map with the parameters for the job (address, status, direction, etc.)
Know and track the status of each job / vehicle: free, picking up a client, etc.
Have an overview of all vehicles, or zoom in to a particular vehicle or group of vehicles
View and track the whereabouts of each vehicle or group of vehicles in real time and to display their route(s)
Track all current jobs and updates the distance and the duration of a job, as well as the price the client will pay

To ensure the security of the personnel, vehicles and their operation the different type alerts can be defined :

Alerts automatically sent by the system to the dispatching centre:



On unauthorized leaving of predefined regions, zones, etc.
On changing the road, etc.
Various alerts about the driver’s activity
Various alerts about vehicle’s activity, etc.

Emergency alerts sent by driver via the terminal in the vehicle:

On car break down
On delays, etc.

Smart Fleet manages single or recurring reservations (daily or weekly). Recurrence is customised and renewable.

The system also allows you to black out certain periods.

The system can automatically assign a reservation to a vehicle or the dispatcher can assign it manually.

The management of reservations includes its confirmation by the customer, that the reservations become a jobs or are cancelled.

The warning for confirmation of the reservation is automatic.










INTERNET RESERVATIONS


The customers take active role

Smart Fleet enables the private and corporate customers to reserve on-line and to track the progress of their reservations without contacting the dispatcher They can also consult and change the data in their personal profile.
The reservations are simultaneously visible by the customer and the dispatcher.

The corporate and private customers, as well as their subscriptions, are managed by the system

Management of a complete profile for each customer: name, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail, type of payment, travelled kilometres, etc.

Smart Fleet allows for the quick searching of the customer’s profile according to the entered information: customer’s code, name, telephone number, etc.

Availability of a management system for the number of orders made by each customer, in order to establish his/her importance and to offer him/her various advantages (bonuses, priorities, etc.).










Each subscriber is considered as a priority customer
In return he/she receives specific and priority services:
  • Immediate recognition upon receiving a telephone call
  • Priority processing of the reservations
  • Management of the bonuses and advantages
  • Application of specific rates, invoicing, etc.

Smart Fleet offers the management of various types of drivers (employees, contractors, subcontractors) and their vehicles. Each driver is identified by a personal code
The system allows for the management of vehicles used by several drivers by appropriation of a uniform identifier
The system manages the data related to the professional activity of each driver (contract type, category, address, languages spoken, etc.) and vehicle (registration, type, number of places, etc.)
The data on the activity of each vehicle and driver are also recorded: hours worked, mileage, turnover , etc.










The software also controls the specific data of the drivers and the various parameters of the vehicles like technical inspection, maintenance, etc.
